Well, that was a long and hard fought battle. Very impressed with the effort everyone put in! It's a very good sign to start off the season Let's get onto results On the favorites things ended after a couple of hours. It came down to Ted vs. Bob Dawg, with the winner being... Congrats! On the fans tribe, things took much, much longer. After going strong for six long hours, it came down to Darrah, Kourtney, Coach, and Natalie. The second Captain is... Congrats to Bob Dawg and Kourtney! The two of you are this season's captains. With this, comes a few perks. First, you'll be naming your tribe and choosing a color, so start thinking of those. Second, you'll be the first two people sent to Salsus. You'll be given access right now, and it'll last for 24 hours. I mentioned earlier a third perk. This will have to be discussed on AIM tomorrow (Tuesday). IM me to coordinate a time! In the chat, we'll also discuss final decisions for tribe names and colors. Your first real treemail will be up Tuesday night, and your first Immunity challenge will be Wednesday night. Congrats again!

Come on in guys! Let's get a look at these new tribes Gwadatoo Nesoi Desterrados Gwadatoo, Nesoi, and Desterrados. Favorites, fans, and a mix of the two. Very excited to see how this all plays out Also, your new tribe colors are in the color drop-down menu while making a new post. Some might find it helpful. Let's get to your first Immunity challenge! This is what you're playing for: As long as you have Immunity, you are safe in this game. No one wants to go to Tribal Council. Your first challenge is called... This challenge will be run twice for each tribe, each time with a different set of tribe members. First, each tribe needs to nominate a leader. The leader will need to run this challenge both times. The six remaining tribe members must split themselves into two groups of three. The groups need to be able to meet online at the same time for the challenge. When you have your group of three plus the leader online at once, you four can IM me to begin. Here's how it works: Three of your tribe members are locked in bamboo cells. It's up to the leader to break them out. Each of the four of you will be a moderator of your own subforum, which is locked with a four digit password. When your group is ready, I'll give the leader a four digit number. Then your time will begin. It's his job to unscramble the number to find the correct combination that unlocks his board. Eventually, he'll find the right one and unlock his board. Ex: I'll give him 3982...and the password may be 2938. Once he gets inside, he'll find a second four digit number. He'll send that number to his three imprisoned tribe mates. Each of the three must then try each combination of those four digits on their own board as quickly as they can. It will only work for one of them. Eventually, it'll work for one and they'll unlock their board, where they will find another set of numbers. They'll then give that to the remaining two tribemates. Once it works for someone, they'll unlock their board and find a final set of numbers, which belongs to the final tribemate. When the final tribe member unlocks his board, he'll find a series of scrambled letters. These letters form a phrase related to the theme of this challenge. The four of you must work together to unscramble the phrase. The final tribe member who found the phrase must post it unscrambled in his or her board. As soon as they do, time stops. The leader will then do this again with his other three tribe members. Numbers will be changed, and the final phrase will be changed. The leader will be the person to start each time. NOTE: IF you can't get someone online at the same time as the other three, the leader can step in and fill that persons role. They'll be given access to that persons forum and will be a substitute for them. But it'll cost you! One minute penalty tacked on to your final time if you need to have the leader step in. Could make all the difference. Time starts as soon as the leader is given the first set of numbers, and stops as soon as the final person posts the correct unscrambled phrase. Each of your tribes two sessions will be averaged. The tribe with the fastest average time between its two groups will win Immunity and be safe from Tribal Council. For the two losing tribes? A date with me at Tribal Council, where you'll vote out the first and second person of Sausage Island IV. Bit stakes! No one wants to be the first to leave. SalsusThe winning leader and second place leader will be the two sent to Salsus this round. Hope that doesn't get in the way of you choosing and coordinating! ------------------ Coordinate your online times, work together well, and move quickly. The tribe that communicates and works together the best will earn Immunity. As soon as you have your leader and group of three picked out, IM either myself or Brett so that we can get you started. We should be around, but we can't be on 24/7, so be sure to do it as soon as you can. Desterrados, because you have one extra member you must sit someone out. You must decide before any of you can start the challenge. Post in this thread when you've come to a decision. Survivor's ready? GO!

Nice work by all three tribes! And we finished early too. Good activity everyone! Let's get on with results, starting with the first group of each tribe. Your first group will be averaged with your second group, and the tribe with the fastest average wins Immunity. Nesoi nominated their captain as their leader, Kourtney Group A They finished in... 48 minutes For Gwadatoo, Judd was chosen as leader Group A They finished in... 40 minutes! Ahead of Nesoi by just a bit Mary was selected as the leader for Desterrados Group A These four finished in... 20 minutes! So far: Nesoi: 48 minutes Gwadatoo: 40 minutes Desterrados: 20 minutes It all comes down to Group B of each tribe... Let's start with Nesoi Group B They moved faster than their first group, finishing in 27 minutes. That brings Nesoi's final average time to... 37.5 minutes. Not bad! Now onto Gwadatoo Group B They decided to start without Sekou, which tacked a minute onto their final time. They finished in... 11 minutes! Bringing their total time to 25.5 minutes. That means Nesoi, you'll be joining me at Tribal Council It all comes down to the final Outcast group! Group B Their first group finished in 20 minutes. Their average needs to be quicker than Gwadatoo's 25.5. They managed to finish in..... 14 minutes! Bringing their average to 17 minutes! Desterrados wins Immunity!Desterrados: 17 minutes Gwadatoo: 25.5 minutes Nesoi: 37.5 minuets Onto Salsus! As the winning leader, Mary will be heading their. Accompanying her will be Judd, who came in second place. You'll be given access shortly Congrats to the outcasts! For Nesoi and Gwadatoo, you'll both be heading to Tribal Council. One fan and one favorite will be leaving the game. You have the afternoon to decide who it's gonna be. Tribal Council will be up soon. Good luck! ;D

Come on in guys! Natalie and Sekou voted out of Nesoi and Gwadatoo. Desterrados, I'll take back Immunity. Immunity is back up for grabs Let's get to tonight's challenge! Hope you all love creative challenges, cause we sure do! For tonight's challenge, each tribe will be building a distress signal on their beach. In your tribe camps, you'll work together to plan, brainstorm, design, and create your signal. Everyone who is participating should pitch in somehow. Come up with ideas, critique, work on the design, etc. Every tribe mate doesn't have to work on the actual image, but all of you must work together and offer input however you can Onto the catch! Unlike most challenges of this kind, you won't get to choose all of your supplies. We're very limited here on Sausage Island. Most of the supplies we had were used to build the luxurious suites on Waffle Island for us hosts and PW's. You guys will have to make due with what's left over.. Here are the items you can chose from. The number in parenthesis indicates how many times you may use that item. - Bamboo pole (6) - Bamboo pole (6) - Bamboo pole (1) - Flag - Raft - Oars (4) - Suitcase - Planks of wood (3) - Planks of wood (3) - Umbrella - Fishing rod - Crate - Bucket (2) - Rope - Small mirror - Lantern - Matches - Fire wood (Cannot light without matches) - Matches - Fire wood (Cannot light without matches) - Rocks (9) - Rocks (4) - Palm tree leaves (5) - Bowls (8) - Coconuts (5) - Coconuts (3) - Pots and Pans (3) - Blankets (2) - Blankets (2) - Tarp - Tarp - Water jug - Pillows (2) - Luxury Item (Your tribe can choose an item. It must be something plausible as far as luxury items go) - Mangos (5 bunches) - Bananas (4 bunches) Here's where your leaders come on! The leader for each tribe must meet us on AIM at 8:00. We'll do a pick 'em with all of the items on the list. Your leaders need to think fast and choose items that they feel will be most useful for your task. Once they've picked all the items, you can begin building. You MUST use all the items that you've picked somehow. As far as the images of each item go, you can make those yourselves or find them. Items have to be accurate though, or they won't count. You're free to use whatever beach image you find as a base as well, within reason. Figure out how you want to make everything work and do it. Put your heads together and find ways to make the most out of all of your items. Working together and creativity are key in this challenge. Your total score, as judged by us and some of the PW's, will be determined with the following criteria: - Effectiveness: Could this function as an actual S.O.S. signal? (10 points)
- Neatness: Is it put together well? Or is it messy? (10 points)
- Creativity/Use of items: How creative you guys are! Is your design smart and interesting or is it something the world's most boring three year old could come up with? (10 points)
- Teamwork: More points if you guys all work together on this, less if someone does it all for you. Not everyone is a master at photoshop, but if you contribute creative ideas you'll get a higher score. (10 points)
- Instructions. Did you follow all the rules? Did you use an item too many times? (10 points)The TWO tribes with the highest average score will win Immunity and be safe from Tribal Council. The losing tribe will be heading to Tribal, where they'll vote the third person out of this game. SalsusLike we mentioned, the two winning leaders will be sent to Salsus, where they'll have a shot at finding one of the two Hidden Immunity Idols. You have 24 hours to submit a final design. We can't grant you an extension, this challenge must end Sunday night. Sorry! Survivor's ready? GO!

Who had fun!
After a very long 5 and a half hour battle, we have our winners. I didn't think this much drama and betrayal could happen within a dodgeball game. A very hilarious, dramatic, and telling challenge.
Unfortunately it's ending in some controversy! I hate to do this after such a hard fought challenge, but after talking about it, it's what Brett and I decided
Kelly posted two throws to Kourtney in a row within a wall of images. I made it very clear numerous times to all three tribes that none of your actions will count unless they're clear within a post. Therefore, Kelly's throw within the images didn't count as her throw. She waited enough time after her last clear throw, threw at Kourtney, and eliminated her. Kelly's throw within the Sekou wall might as well have been deleted, since you all should've known by now that it wouldn't have counted at all for any of you.
We car argue the definition of a clear post all day, but this is what happens when spamming and silly stuff comes into challenges like this. The line is very grey, and everyone has different opinions
It's tricky! I'm sorry if you don't like the call but Brett and I came to a decision.
With that...
Desterrados and Gwadatoo win Immunity!
Sorry Nesoi. Well fought. I apologize if you find this unfair, but we feel this is the best decision.
Tribal Council will be up shortly

(Sorry this is late, opening Jigsaw Planet crashes Firefox every other try -_- ) Come on in, guys! JT voted out at last tribal council; Ace defected to Gwadatoo. Today's challenge is called.... ZELPUZThe object of the game is simple: You'll be doing jigsaw puzzles! Some are easy, others are not. There are 5 in all. For the first 4, you will chose one person for each puzzle. Once they've been assigned one, their puzzle cannot be changed and they MUST be the one to submit the final score. Puzzle 1 : www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=3f76bb3f859ePuzzle 2 : www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=20aa9495eb2cPuzzle 3 : www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=070735a663b9Puzzle 4 : www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=28e914068045The 5th puzzle, however, must be completed by every member of your tribe. The final score for each tribe will be averaged. Puzzle 5: www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=1050e3b74199Your AIM buddy list MUST be visible with your submissions, otherwise it will not count. The team who have the lowest combined times on all of the puzzles will win the challenge. The other 2 will have a date with me and Lex at tribal council. Any questions, ask me or Lex. Survivors ready? GO!

First of all, there was some major confusion over puzzle 5 and whether the "everyone" meant every member of the tribe or each of the 4 doing the puzzle. I actually tallied it 3 different ways, with everyone in the tribe, just the 4, and with puzzle 5 being tossed out entirely. Then I rechecked twice. In the end, it didn't matter at all. The rankings did not change. Times are with all members of the tribe's times. The penalty for not doing the final puzzle was 15 minutes. In last place..... NESOIwith a total of 58:25 total. Puzzle 1: 2:10 Puzzle 2: 7:41 Puzzle 3: 43:03 Puzzle 4: 1:36 Puzzle 5: 4:04 average Which means it's down to Gwadatoo and Desterrados. The winning tribe is....... Desterrados! With a total time of 38:25 Puzzle 1: 2:46 Puzzle 2: 9:17 Puzzle 3: 16:37 Puzzle 4: 1:28 Puzzle 5: 8:17 average Which means Gwadatoo and Nesoi will be joining me and Lex at tribal council tonight. As for Salsus, there was a tie in the Gwadatoo poll. Winner of the tie breaker for that will be joining Judd at Salsus. Gwadatoo's score: 41:08 Puzzle 1: 3:50 Puzzle 2: 8:10 Puzzle 3: 21:48 Puzzle 4: 1:11 Puzzle 5: 6:59 average

Come on in guys! Frosti and Semhar voted out at last night's double Tribal Council's. Thirteen remain. Tribal Immunity is back up for grabs! Tonight's challenge is called... Here's how it works: First, you must choose a partner from your tribe to work with. In your tribe camps, decide who will partner up with who. There will be three groups of two, with one player from Valente sitting out. When you and your partner are ready to compete, you'll IM either myself or Brett to get started. You and your partner will be given access to a subforum at the start of the challenge. In that board will be a thread. In that thread, you'll attempt to find five puzzle pieces. How do you find the pieces you ask? They'll be word filtered. The two of you must continuously post numbers in order to find the pieces. For example, if a piece was hidden behind the number 42, you would post :42: Inside of the colons, just like the code we gave you for your icons at the start of the game. If you're right, the image of the piece will pop up. You'll continue to do this until you have all five pieces. To prevent you from simply typing up each of the possible numbers beforehand, we're putting a random lowercase letter in front of the numbers. Each pair will be assigned a different letter. Example: :s42: Furthermore, your set of numbers will be within a 100 range, which we'll tell you before you start. Example: Rory and Jason are partners for the challenge. We tell them as they're about to start that their five puzzle pieces are between :m400: and :m500: They'll then try :m401:, :m402:, etc. Might sound complicated, but it's very straightforward. You and your partner will continuously post your guesses that are within your assigned number range. Eventually, you'll find the five images that you need. Once you find the five puzzle pieces, you'll need to correctly put them together on the board. You'll use tags to get them to line up. If you're successful, they'll reveal a word to you. That word is the password to the subforum on your board. You can't go into the board until one of you has posted the completed puzzle. After that, both you and your partner must type it in (all lowercase), and post whatever you'd like in the board. Once you both post, your time will stop. The time between all three teams on your tribe will be averaged. The tribe with the fastest overall time will win Immunity. For the losing tribe, Tribal Council, where someone will be voted out. SalsusThe pair with the overall fastest time (whether their tribe won or lost), will be heading to Salsus. That means for the first time, two players from one tribe will be going there together. Survivor's ready? GO!

I've got the results! We'll go through this one pair at a time. The tribe with the fastest average will win Immunity, and the fastest pair will be heading to Salsus. Wanda and Kim went first for Talgeni. They took 23 minutes. Up next were Ace and Kourtney, who took 26 minutes. Ted and Jay...were unable to coordinate times and did not complete the challenge. They'll take the 25 minute penalty. Total time for Talgeni: 24 minutes! Onto Valente Bob Dawg and Judd were up first. They took... 11 minutes! And are currently in the lead for a Salsus trip. Kelly and Eliza were next up. They took 14 minutes! So far Valente has a considerable lead. It's all up to the final two. Coach and Mike took... 9 minutes! Bringing Valente's average to 11 minutes! Valente wins Immunity!Congrats! Coach and Mike, because you two went the quickest, you'll both be heading to Salsus together this round. Talgeni, got nothing for ya. You guys will be heading to Tribal Council for the third straight time, where you'll vote another member out. Tribal Council and Salsus will be up shortly. Good luck

Come on in guys! Kim voted out of Talgeni. Down to the final twelve ... Immunity is up for grabs! You weren't expecting anything else, were you? Tonight's challenge is called... Way back in Sausage Island I, and long before that in another game I hosted, I came up with a challenge called Temptation. Tonight's challenge will be very similar to that...but essentially, the opposite. I showed you a crate a treemail. Inside of that crate, is an apple. With that apple comes an offer, which I'll explain soon. But first! The actual challenge. Here's how it works: In your tribe camps, you'll create a thread. The goal of the challenge is for your tribe to stack blocks in a pyramid shape higher than the other tribe. The first person to post will simply post the top of the pyramid, the first block. Here are your tribe's blocks: The next person must then post the next two blocks, to complete the second row. After posting one block, the person must wait 5 minutes before posting the next. Like so: *Wait five minutes* Note: You don't have to wait five minutes before posting the rows that everyone else has already done. You can simply post all of their rows at once, followed by your first new block. The next person can then begin the third row, consisting of three blocks, and so forth. So each row will add one block to it, and between every post you must wait five minutes. The higher your pyramid gets, the longer it will take to finish your new rows. No one can finish a row for a tribemate. Once someone starts a row, they need to finish on their own. If they're taking too long, someone else can start their row over for them. There's no order. Anyone can begin a row after the last person finishes. The only rule is that you cannot create two rows in a row. You must wait until one person goes first. The tribe with the highest pyramid after 24 hours wins Immunity. If the pyramids are the same size, the tribe that's the furthest along in their bottom row will win Immunity. Kind of boring right? Not exactly the most fun or exciting challenge? Well...then take the golden apple! I have one offer on the table. Anyone in the game may accept this offer. The offer is this:
If you choose to take this tempting, golden, metaphoric apple, your tribe will win Immunity. Simple as that. If you PM me saying that you want the apple, your tribe is safe from Tribal Council, and the other tribe will attend.
The catch!
You'll go with them.
If you accept my offer, you spare your tribe from Tribal Council, but you'll send yourself to the other tribe where you'll become a permanent member. You will go with them to Tribal Council. You will vote, and you will be vulnerable.
If you're confident that your tribe is going to win Immunity, then feel free to simply do nothing. Ride the challenge out, see what happens.
If you're not so confident in your tribe's ability, and think that you're in danger of them voting you out should you lose, take my offer! Send yourself to the other tribe and take a risk.
Think the other tribe will crush you guys in the challenge? Stop them by taking the apple and possibly putting yourself in harms way. Maybe you have friends on the other tribe? Maybe your vote will do someone some good?
The choice is entirely up to you. The offer goes on the table immediately. It remains there for exactly two hours. After 10:00 PM, the offer is gone, and the two tribes will battle it out in the challenge.
The first player to PM me and says that they'll take the offer, gets it. Once you take it, no going back. First come, first serve. Starting right from 8:00 and lasting to 10:00.
The minute someone accepts the offer, the challenge is over.Valente, you have two extra members. The last two people to begin adding to the pyramid will automatically sit out. They can, however, take the offer before 10:00. It's a risk, but it could shift things considerably in your favor if it pays off. With a merge looming, this could change things big time. Tempted? Survivors ready? GO!

Ninety seconds! That's how quickly someone gave into temptation. Two people in fact! Let's see who they were... That means... Valente wins Immunity! But who will be heading to Talgeni? One of these two narrowly beat the other to my offer. Whoever was first, has sent themselves to Talgeni's Tribal Council. The person who took the apple first was... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Judd! Welcome to Talgeni. Just like that, Talgeni will be heading back to Tribal Council. Judd is now a member of your tribe. He will vote, he does not have Immunity. Very interesting! Oh, one more thing SalsusSay goodbye to the H.M.S. Salsus, it's now over. Any treasures that may rest there will remain. Tribal Council for Talgeni will be up shortly. This should make for an interesting afternoon. Good luck!
