I figured I should explain a bit about myself before I got to the actual meat of the questions.

I came into this game with a plan, which had these three steps.
1) Get to the Jury.
2) Get people I saw as the best, those on a level above me, as far as I could.
3) Get voted out so I could express my thoughts in this here topic.

Step 1 went pretty well. I feel like I put a lot of the drive on Klimbono, but as soon as I saw Misty's voted out, I knew it was time to drop the frame of mind I had at that part of the game.

Step 2, at the merge I settled on the four people I wanted in the Final 4. Jimmy, Jenna, Julie, and Sarah.

Phillip, you have called me a spineless idiot quite a bit since you were voted out. But when it comes right down to it, I went with them because I liked them better. I would have worked with you had you not been acting like a condescending prick. It made me feel like I couldn't trust you like a drop of water trusts the sun. I'm not sure whether you were just acting the character or whether that's how you truly are, but the fact of the matter is that is why I voted you that night.

Sarah, Over the course of the game, I felt like you were getting too close to me. It put me in a paranoid state of believing you were constantly plotting against me. It's this that put you on the outs of my opinion back on Klimbono and the only reason I even thought about voting you out there. When you were voted out, I made the choice to go with Jimmy due to him and Julie being so close and losing one of them put the other in a tight spot. So of the four I wanted to take, you were still on the outs. I do think of you as my closest ally and best friend in the game, but my game plan kept me from just sticking to friends.

After Sarah was out, her spot in the 4 I wanted was open. I let Matty take it for a reason I will get to down the line.

Na Onka and Gillian. I have absolutely nothing against you, when it came right down to it, you weren't in the plan. Sorry.

The Purple Rock vote was just when I realized "Hey wait, odds are my plan will work better if I cause it, since it'd be a 2 in 3 chance of what I want rather then a 0 chance." I did it on the chance one of two things happened.

1) Best Case Scenario, Gillian's out and I can waltz on out at the Final 5.
2) If that doesn't happen, I can be taken out and the game can develop without me.

And then, at the Final 5, I noticed how little I could play the game any more. My schedule was becoming filled up in real life... hell, I missed the challenge. Without being able to talk to Jenna at all, I knew she would betray me. So rather then voting for myself like I had intended, I voted against Jimmy. It was far more rewarding to be taken out in a blindside then by giving up.


Which leads me to here.

Julie -
You are a good player, both in challenges and strategy. One of the biggest reasons I would be voting you today is that you were the one who got me out. However, there is one part that hurts your chances.

I don't respect you. When you had your tantrum after it was revealed I was purple rocking, I just sighed. A good player, yes. But there's a certain level of maturity I was expecting from you, and you blew it.

Matty -
You played well and honestly. I do have a bit of respect for you, and you could still have my vote based on the questions below. I want you to understand this, though.
After the Mary vote, I knew you were playing UTR. I rather liked it as your strategy, as you were clearly among the 3 strongest players of Klimbono. Because I saw you as a good player, I was willing to try to keep you over Sarah. It was not because I thought you were nice.
And then again at the Purple Rock, I voted to avoid the rock for the majority of the time, voting you out. I switched at the last minute to risk myself for myself, and not for you. Maybe if you played a bit more social, you'd have realized that I never really liked you.

For this, a story.
A friend of mine once said "I just can get a feel for a player who loves control and is trying to make things happen, and this dude is THAT dude."
You Jimmy, at the beginning of the game. What was it you said to a large amount of people?

This is a very stupid move to make, seeing as it would clearly make enemies right off the bat... but it was that kind of sincerity and ballsiness that I see as a good quality in the game.
So of course, I said "Likewise. Name's Jolt. =w="

Then during the first challenge, we struck up a conversation, myself getting to know you better and finally deciding, yes. This is going to be my closest ally in the game.

As far as I know, you and I were working together from that moment until the Final Six when you decided I was with Jenna and Matty.

And as such, you have the highest chance of getting my vote, but it will rely for ALL THREE OF YOU on the answers you have to my question.

I wasn't condescending until after I was voted out. Before I was showing you where you stood with Julie and Jenna, and everything I showed you from convos was true, because they both fucked you over in the Final 5, and I predicted 6th or 5th for you, and you could have easily gotten 6th had you chosen a purple rock. You didn't play your own game, you played Jimmy's game, who was playing Julie's game. You deserved the the condescending attitude. I think deep down you knew where you stood with them and you simply didn't care because all you wanted was to get on the jury anyway, not playing to win.

Whatever works for you I guess. I found it very dissappointing cause you had seemed like such a powerful and dominant player before the merge, you controlled the votes on Klimbono and seemed so confidant. Then you transformed at the merge and became indifferent about the game and that really bothered me.

It just bothers me playing with people who aren't playing to win. Jimmy betrayed me but he still made the finals so I can respect that. You got out exactly how I predicted but hey, Jimmy made his goal and I suppose you got your goal so whatever works. My brain cannot fathom not playing to win.

Let me clear this up for the 50th time. Had Joel voted out Matty after the sword and shield challenge I would have took him over Jenna to the final 3. I talked to him more and trusted him more. I didn't screw over Joel. I voted Joel out because he let Matty into the final 4 and Julie got Jenna, the only person who would flip, to vote Joel. It was the only way I could get at least a tie breaking challenge to the final 3. Joel wasn't playing my game. Joel was playing his own game. It's a shame he wasn't playing my game. He would have probably been sitting here now answering your questions.

And yes, Phillip. You were condescending before you were voted out. It irritated me enough to drop my thinking about working with you, but I understand why you were even more so after you were voted out.



Regardless, the game is what it is, and now I just have to play my role in the scene, and finally voting who I feel should get my vote.

That was the one move on Joel's part where he actually showed some fortitude and it wasn't for how easily Julie changed Jenna mind, he would have Final 3 with Jenna and Matty. But alas he was always at the bottom and to the people he trusted once the other players in the game whose name didn't begin with a letter "J" were gone, he was the always the fourth and last "J" in the JJJJ. Jimmy, Julie Jenna and Joel were the only one vulnerable, and Joel went, big shocker.

6. Final 6 was the 2nd most crucial moment of my game. When you forced the purple rock, I lost the complete control of this game that I had. Instead I was forced to hope that we would both make instead of walking into the finals with ease. It also let, the worst possible person for me to sit next to in my opinion, into the finals. If Matty had gone then, I would have controlled every vote since the merge. Instead Julie worked her magic on Jenna and we "wiggled" our way in.

I don't see how I was condescending before you were voted out. I was just frank and upfront about were you stood in your alliance, you didn't believe me or didn't care or both, not sure which. I highly doubt had I worded where you stood in your alliance more "delicately" you would have done anything different. But hey you know what Jimmy and Julie do a great job of making you think you can trust them when you can't, I was fooled by it too ( more Jimmy than Julie).

Joel - Yea, I sometimes have trouble keeping my emotions in check when i am truly disappointed Sorry for that.

Since we had been communicating on several levels (EM, AIM) i felt like we had enough of a relationship for you to at least be honest with me. Ya know?

When you showed Jimmy the vote for Matty and then it turned out you didn't vote Matty, i felt a sense of betrayal on a pretty high level. Up until that point, i pretty much trusted what you told me. My bad, yah, probably.. LOL

My number would be 1. I believe i deserve to be #1 in this game. I also strive to be better in every game that I play, which would always lead me to #1.

I do pick a "flaw" that i exhibit in every game I play and work on it, I also gleen from other players strategies and things I can use to make myself a better player. Thank you for what I learned from you,

At the beginning of the game, if someone asked me who I felt had the best shot of winning the whole thing, I would have said you... hands down. And it seemed like you were in it for the long hall up until the moment Sarah called you out. That's when your whole demeanour changed. I guess it's your prerogative how you want to play the game and how far you want to make it. But it does make me wonder if this game would have played out differently if you had been playing with more of a desire to win it. My guess is that Jimmy and Julie wouldn't have had quite so much of a cake-walk getting to the Finals together. But, that's just my theory.

Fair enough... Regardless of the reason why you voted to keep me, you did so anyway. After Sarah caused the scene, you told everyone that you were just playing to make it to the jury. But, I still assumed that you were playing the game to make it to the Finals. And under that assumption, it would only make sense that you voted to keep me because you liked/trusted me and thought you could make it further with me and Jenna than with Joel and Julie. But as I've learned through your speech tonight, you truly were just playing to make the jury, and just wanted to influence who made the Final 4, so I was wrong in my assumption.

It doesn't bother me if you didn't really like me. But I don't think I would have "realized that" if I had been more social... At the beginning of the game, you seemed pretty open and honest with me. You definitely weren't telling me everything, but what you were telling me, was for the most part sincere. After Sarah called you out, you turned into a closed book. You were indecisive, didn't volunteer any sort of opinion, and just didn't really seem like your heart was in it the way it was at the beginning. When I asked you things, I usually got vague answers or responses that could be taken different ways. So, I could have been more social, but when I talked with you it didn't seem to get me very far, so I just accepted that you were playing your own game and it may or may not have involved me. Jenna and a few others had told me the same thing -- that your attitude had changed throughout the game -- so unless you totally broke character and said "Matty, I don't like you" I don't think I would have known, regardless of how much I talked to you.

I'll go with #2.

It's the number of promises I made in this game, and I kept both of them. It's the number of people who helped me get to the Finals. It's the number of jury members that I had a hand in voting out. And it's the number of times my name was ever thrown around at Tribal Council. I also won 2 consecutive individual Immunity Challenges at 2 different times. So I think 2 has been a pretty meaningful number for me in this game.

Joel admits I was his closest ally and the only reason he didn't vote you out was because he wanted us all to make the finals since he wasn't trying to win. Had he been playing to win, Id bet my money you'd have been gone and our trip to the finals would have been a whole lot easier. Turns out you wanted to be sitting next to us in the finals so you let Jenna get voted out and gave Julie a "battle scar".
