To all 3 of you.... What was your biggest game move? If I was in the final 3 with Joel and Gillian who would you vote for to win and why?
Jimmy: Why didn't you talk to me earlier in the game?
Julie: You talk about honesty... Where did that play in our so called alliance? I feel that you voted me to get back at me for causing purple rock...
Matty: Besides the fact that you wanted to see Julie's name on a parchment... Why did you not vote Jimmy? And did you really want me out?

To all 3 of you.... What was your biggest game move? If I was in the final 3 with Joel and Gillian who would you vote for to win and why?
My biggest game move was definitely when I found out Phillip had targeted Julie before he switched to you, Jenna. I talked to Julie, Joel, and Sarah and had them vote him. Julie talked to Jenna, Lex, and maybe Matty. One way or another Matty got told to vote Phillip. Someone PMed Anthony to vote Phillip I believe. None of us approached Gillian or Naonka with this of course. Getting Phillip out with his idol, 2 double votes, and a triple vote was definitely a game changer and the biggest move of the entire game. Phillip would have at least made final 5 had we not done this.
I probably would have voted Gillian to win. She was loyal to Lantwan and would have had an extremely hard trip to the finals. If she would have made it, she would have had to won challenges to do so.
Jimmy: Why didn't you talk to me earlier in the game?
Your activity on aim wasn't really all there. The times that I was on aim didn't correspond with your schedule I suppose. Julie was closer to you than I could hope to be. So I spent my time trying to get closer to Joel because I didn't want to take Matty to the final 4 because I knew he could win his way to final 3. While Joel and myself, hadn't won anything really. So Joel was more of a priority to me. I just never caught you online though. I've talked Carlos, Cate, Phillip, and Joel's ears off.

What was your biggest game move? If I was in the final 3 with Joel and Gillian who would you vote for to win and why?Well let's see, that would have to be finding out that Philip was after me, because he thought too many people liked me and so, knowing he had an arsenal of goodies, a blindside seemed in order Also, just little things as I have explained like saving Sarah and Gillian and getting Sydney out when Joel wanted her to stay. If you were in the F3 with Gillian and Joel, you would definitely get my vote. You and I were aligned and tightly. The only other person I trusted more than you was Jimmy. You had a side alliance with Joel that I didn't know about, but you know about Jimmy. I would honor my word to you. Period Julie: You talk about honesty... Where did that play in our so called alliance? I feel that you voted me to get back at me for causing purple rock...Jenna, you neglected to tell me about your side alliance with Joel (yes, not telling someone something is a lie as well) I was completely honest and upfront about my trust of Jimmy and you didn't trust him, but I did. You were aligned with Matty and brought him into our F4, while I didnt' trust him, but you did. We were in the same boat really. I know you said that you would have voted Matty out if it came to that, but knowing that Matty and you were voting for Jimmy, I decided that the fair way was a tie. That way, I was still loyal to both of my allies, and you guys could fight it out and the person who wanted it more, would win. Im sorry if you feel betrayed by this. Matty blames me for your getting voted out. He doesn't understand that by him switching his vote to Me and not telling you that it affected your game. Honestly, it was NOT to get you back for the purple Rock thing. I disagreed with your decision on that, but It was not retaliation. I do want to say something here... our personal conversations were real. The things that we talked about were real and honest. I meant everything we talked about. Game aside. Thanks for your questions.

Julie, yes, game aside... I know our conversations are real! You are a strong young lady that truly inspires me daily... And you know why!
But back to the game!! Not telling you something is not a lie! It was to benefit us to get to the final 4! I know you will never it see it that way... Had I not kept that from you, do you think you would have voted Jimmy in the final TC? Or would it have been the same?

Jenna, withholding information about someone you are aligned with is the same as a lie, especially when we talked about voting him out so many times. I honestly don't know what I would have done if you had been honest about it with me instead of hiding it. By you hiding it, and your refusal to vote Matty, it made me question your alliance and the depth of it with me (our personal talks aside). I was very nervous once I heard about Joel and then your commitment to Matty. My decision to vote for you to ensure a "tie" was a hard one. I didn't just flippantly say, "Imma vote Jenna".. pow! It was hard on me. The fact that i wasn't voting you out directly made it a little less excruciating because i felt like i was honoring my alliance with both you and Jimmy. Is that wrong thinking? I dunno.. but it honestly was what I was thinking and told Jimmy. He knew there was going to be a tie. My not telling you a head of time was my fault. I had a rough day that day and I had erased your past text from my phone and didn't have it stored. I should have PMd you. For that I do apologize profoundly, because I should have at least done that. Thank you. .

Hey Jenna!
Matty: Besides the fact that you wanted to see Julie's name on a parchment...
Like I mentioned earlier, after the merge, I wasn't playing this game just to make it to the Finals. I was playing the game to win it. Every decision I made was based on what would put me in the best position if I was sitting in the Final 3, and what would help me convince the jury to vote for me to win. The most important part of that was the decision of who I wanted to be sitting with in the Final 3.
In Survivor, I believe you need to find a way to differentiate yourself from the people who are sitting beside you in the Finals. If all of you go into the Final Tribal Council saying you played the same way, and made the same decisions, and made the same alliances, it's impossible for the Jury to vote based on who played the best game... because you all played the same way. So, I wanted to be in the Final 3 with two people who made a lot of the same moves as each other (but differently than me) so that I could separate myself from them and give the jury a good reason to vote for me.
Like I have said all along, this is a numbers game. The fact is, if you have 2 people who played the same way, and 1 person who played totally different, then the jury has to choose one side or the other. If they want to vote for the side where 2 people played the same, chances are they'll unintentionally split the votes between them. If they want to vote for the side where 1 person played differently, that person gets all of those votes. So strategically, it was in my best interest to be against 2 people who played the same way... like Tweedledee and Tweedledum who voted the same way, made the same moves, and formed the same alliances.
Having said that, my preference was to be in the Final 3 with you and Joel. You two played similarly because you had the same alliances, voted together each round, and turned on Jimmy and Julie at the same time. So at the Final 5, I promised both you and Joel that I would never vote for either of you, and I kept my word to both of you. Unfortunately, you decided to vote Joel out that round, so that F3 combination was no longer an option for me.
At the Final 4, I did still want you to be in the Finals with me, but I knew strategically I needed Julie to receive at least one vote, otherwise she was going to march into the Finals and tell everyone she deserved to win because she never got any votes. And look what she did... In her opening statement, she brought up the fact that she almost skated through the game without any votes. Unfortunately for her, it would have been a lot more powerful if she had a clean record.
Anyway, when you asked me about my thoughts on the vote, I told you that I hadn't decided yet but I was leaning towards voting for Julie, and explained why. You told me that you couldn't vote for Julie because the two of you had a deal for the Finals. And shortly after that, the subject changed. I don't believe I ever told you I was going to vote for Jimmy... You told me that's how you were voting, but I didn't say anything definitive about how I was voting. But since you had a deal with Julie for the Finals, and you had been saying for a few rounds that you were confident she was going to keep you over Jimmy, I decided to go with my gut and vote for Julie. I figured that Julie would honour her promise to you, and if she didn't, it was her that backstabbed you and voted you out of the game. And that's what she did, even if she doesn't want to own up to it.
Why did you not vote Jimmy? And did you really want me out?
The reason I did not want to vote Jimmy out is because he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. He lied, deceived and backstabbed a lot of people who put trust in him. He was overly cocky and downright arrogant about his position in the game. And he doesn't always think things through before he says them. I'm not saying he won't get any votes, because some people respect that type of gameplay. But I think more people appreciate someone who can play the game with honesty and integrity and doesn't have to resort to stabbing people in the back to get to the Finals.
And no, I didn't want you out. I wanted you to be in the Final 3 with me, and I wanted Jimmy to be there because he doesn't have a lot of friends on the jury. But you were set on not voting against Julie because you thought she was going to be loyal to you, and she wasn't. I guess Julie and I were both banking on the fact that the other person was going to do what you thought they would... The only difference is she voted you out of the game, and I didn't.
To all 3 of you.... What was your biggest game move? If I was in the final 3 with Joel and Gillian who would you vote for to win and why?
The biggest move I made in the game was building relationships from scratch with the right people. Unlike Jimmy and Julie, I didn't come into this game with my BFF on the same tribe as me. I didn't know a single person, and no one knew me. So, I actually had to build trust with people from the ground up. And I must have done a pretty good job at it because on two separate occasions, I had two people who were willing to stick their necks out for me. In Week 6, Joel was in a great position on Klimbono, but he wanted to switch the target to Sarah to keep me around. Then at the Final 6, you and Joel both sacrificed your ties with Jimmy and Julie to keep me in the game, and Joel even gambled his own safety to keep me with the purple rock. Considering I didn't know either of you at the beginning of the game, that says a lot.
If you were sitting in the Final 3 with Joel and Gillian, I think I would vote for you. But I am someone who always reads every jury question and answer, and makes a decision based on the players' ability to answer them. Based on what I know about you three, I think you played the most concrete game. But I don't know much about Gillian's game after the Final 7, and Joel has always been a mysterious player to me, and I'm sure there was more to his game than meets the eye.
Anyway, whoever I voted for, it would be the person I feel truly played the best game... I wouldn't just vote for someone because I promised them I would if they made the Finals and I didn't... Oh, snap. Sorry Julie.
Thanks for your questions, Jenna! Good luck with your vote.

HAHA, Matty, you dont know me at all. I didn't even realize I had no votes until Jenna pointed it out to me in a conversation one night on AIM, so yea... you really need to get your facts straight. You THINK you know me, but you really don't at all.

Julie's Opening Statement ~ Until this last tribal when Matty voted me, I had no votes cast against me in this game and I feel that is a huge accomplishment. I also knew who the vote was for each and every tribal council for both tribes. You might not have realized it on your own, Julie, but you still used that as a point in your opening statement... like I predicted you would. And frankly, I was giving you credit for that.... If you didn't receive any votes all game, that's definitely something you should point out to the jury. It gives them a reason why they should vote for you. But the fact that you didn't realize it yourself just proves that you were more focused on getting you and Jimmy to the Finals, and weren't really thinking about making a case for the jury to vote for you.

Actually Matty, i was more focused on my social game than counting votes against me to use in my comments to the jury. The whole point of the game is to get to the finals, so focusing on getting to the finals is what you should be doing. I believe you said in one of your statements about how you were always thinking of what would get you to the finals... so yeah.. I don't see how that is an issue when you did it yourself.

I believe you said in one of your statements about how you were always thinking of what would get you to the finals... so yeah.. I don't see how that is an issue when you did it yourself. No, I've been pretty clear that I wasn't playing to get to the Finals, I was playing to win the game. Let's find some quotes: I made strategic decisions in this game that made people underestimate me, and that’s why I’m sitting here in the Final 3 in the best position I could possibly be in. I never took the safe route, or rode coattails, or went along with the majority because it was the popular thing to do… I did what would put me in the best position to make the Final 3, and ultimately to win the game. For the second half of the game, though, I honestly didn’t care about keeping myself off the chopping block. I wasn’t playing the game to make it to the Finals, I was playing the game to win. Go big or go home! But from the merge onward, I wasn’t really thinking “What should I do to get to the Final 3?” Instead, all of my decisions were based on the question “If I’m in the Final 3, what decision should I make now to separate myself from the others and put myself in the best position possible to win the jury’s votes?” And if you scroll up just a little bit to my original answer to Jenna's question, I'm sure you can find some more. Don't think I need to quote it since it's on the same page. But didn't you just accuse me of not reading your answers? (I do, by the way, and I've commented on most of them) Maybe you should take your own advice.

It's the same thing Matty. You have to make the finals before you can actually win the game. I really don't understand why you are being such an ass now in the finals. I guess that is your strategy as well >.<
I guess you have to put on a show here at the end...

I'm just fighting to win this game. Obviously you and Jimmy came into the game knowing each other, and of course you're both going to stick up for each other like you have all through this game. But I didn't come this far to roll over and hand you the game. You and Jimmy have both happily tried to convince the jury that I don't deserve to be here, saying that I floated when I clearly didn't, and you've put on just as much of a show as I have.

I never said you were a floater Matty, that i can remember anyway. I'm not putting on a show for anyone. I am merely correcting you when i see you have things incorrect. That's all. I don't expect you to roll over and hand the win over, but your comments have been fairly derogatory. You really have mine and Jimmy's relationship all wrong but you wont adjust that thinking to the truth either. LOL So, I'm done trying to respond to that. Usually in a game, you pick ONE person sometimes two that you trust unconditionally. Sometimes it burns you . . sometimes you luck out and find people who will always have your back. I was lucky
