Welcome to the show…
A group of 16 complete strangers have been brought to a mansion somewhere in California with one goal in mind – not to be the last one standing, but somehow, to make it to the end and collect the $1,000,000v cash prize. This is not your typical reality show. This is not your typical Big Brother. This is not your typical Survivor. This is Survivor: California House.
In Survivor: California House, the 16 houseguests / survivors enter with one goal in mind: To do whatever it takes (with certain provisions in place) to last to the end. And if you get to the end, it’s not easy. Your peers – seven of them, to be exact – have the honor of being the jury, who will vote to see if you win the virtual cash. So… Do you have what it takes to be the winner of Survivor: California House?
The format of competitions goes like this:
- Luxury: The tribes (or individuals) will compete for an item that can only be used within the winning team or the winning houseguest / survivor unless otherwise specified.
- Head of Household / Immunity: The tribes (or individuals) will compete for safety. The first player to finish in the tribe portion will be Head of Household, and their tribe will hold immunity for the next eviction ceremony. In the individual portion, the first player to finish will be granted sole immunity. He or she must name two people on the opposite tribe and mark them for eviction.
- Eviction Ceremony: All houseguests / survivors are present. The tribe not immune will cast their votes in a secret diary room for the player they want to see leave the game. In the event of a tie, the Head of Household will cast the deciding vote. As individuals, all houseguests not marked for eviction will cast their vote, with the Head of Household only casting their vote in the event of a tie.
